Miscellaneous other youth-serving organizations, including schools, camps, and community-based nonprofit organizations. Currently, NEXUS Solutions has four main products/services: 1. The Good Shepherd Program: Tools to Protect Your Church by Preventing Child Abuse, which is an in-depth program designed to assist a church, ministry, school, or camp in developing the policies, procedures, forms, and tools needed to keep kids safe from accidents and abuse; 2. SafeScreen: Screening and Selection Tools for Personnel Managers and Volunteer Coordinators, which includes a handbook, sample policies, and ready-to-use forms for screening workers in organizations which serve youth; 3. NexCheck background checking services, which is the service of acquiring background information (MVRs, criminal histories, etc.) and passing the information on to clients for personnel selection purposes; and 4. Customized training and technical assistance for mentoring organizations, ministries, and other youth-serving organizations.  These services include:  · manual and material development;  · training for staff, volunteers, and youth; and  · risk management consulting.  The partners at NEXUS Solutions offer nearly 35 years of experience in youth service, ministry, and assisting victimized youth. Between them, they have served on various local and national youth initiatives, including: Commission on Youth, Community Service, and Mentorship; National Mentoring Institute; United Way; Partners; and church boards and vestries. NEXUS Solutions’ staff have assisted foundations, state agencies and local communities with program design, community assessment, piloting and replicating successful youth programs, policy development, board development, fundraising, financial management, monitoring and evaluation for mentoring programs. They have presented at conferences, institutes, and training workshops.  NEXUS Solutions has assisted with the development of training manuals and videos to enhance the quality of youth service and ministry nationwide.
